So with life beginning to get back to some sort of post grief normality for your average Chelsea fan, we can now look forward to life without Average Can’t. The papers are divided as to who will be next to take the reins of the best, most lucrative and in some respects toughest management jobs in the world.

Most money is on either Frank Rijkaard or Guus Hiddink taking over at Chelsea. Rijkaard produced attractive football at Barcelona and in the process won La Liga and the Champions League. If he did the same at Chelsea both the fans and Roman would be happy. Guus Hiddink has always produced attractive attacking football at the clubs he’s managed, and of course has won the Champions League with PVC Eindhoven.
